CO Early High Country Rifle

Anyone hunt these this year, with past experience to compare to? Just wondering what delaying the season two weeks, until after muzzleloader did. Did hard horns and being hunted by the muzzy guys first spook them out of the open stuff?

I believe that was only for a few units that had the early rifle delayed like that. Not all of them were like that. Are you asking about a specific one that had the season delayed?

yes the muzzle loader hunters had most of the big deer pushed down into the timber before the rifle season started. It was tough to for the rifle hunters this year in the high country.
