Another Basin Buck

A friend of mine helped this handicap gentlemen on this deer hunt. They found this pig and shot him. This buck had another bullet hole in his nick from the October rifle hunt and wouldn't have made it for very much longer. This is a great buck congratulations goes out to the hunter.33" outside spread and with his cheaters 8x8.

I but the person that shot him in October will have mightmares for a long time. Great looking buck. Was he acting sick have a infection from the first shot?

Yes he was sick they said when they dressed him out his gut sack was very small and all around the nick was black and nasty.

It is a private land buck. Hence the late season for him. what does the tag cost on this ranch? anyone know?

Are you sure about the private land buck comment? Because I know in Utah, a disabled hunter can get an extension to his or her season. What a wonderful thing for your friend to do and be part of. Congrats to the both of them on a great buck. It don't get any better than that.

This tag was purchased from an auction I think and you are right about the disabled they can hunt longer. I think that is great that the fish and game allows it(its the least we can do as hunters to support it). This buck was killed in Utah and the area was in the Uintah Basin.
