New Mexico unit 15

Well this would be the first for me to reach out for help. I've never hunted New Mexico yet have put in for a couple year's now and finally drew a tag in unit 15. It's for archery elk in the late hunt. It would be greatly appreciated for any help not looking for your honey hole just some starting points with good public access. Thanks for your help....

Dude: I am out of town right now until after the 4th of July. When I get home I will pull my maps and dial you in your lucky huge bulls 400+ roam those mountains.

Closest place for groceries and gas will be Reserve. NM. You will be dialed in left side of hwy near Juliet Lake if you already have some maps. Look at that and south west of the Lake.

Can you tell me your hunt dates so I know when you need the info? When I get home I will be packing and leaving for the archery deer opener in CA and hunting 7/12 thru 7/22. Let me know. Tkx
