Antelope Island

A map of mine showed 3 large islands close to Antelope island, by the names; Fremont,Carrington & Stansbury islands. anybody been on any of these or know anything about them ?

YES MANY TIMES ON STANSBURY, I HUNTED DEER AND CHUCKERS, BUT NOW IT IS MOSTLY PRIVATE.I NEVER SHOT A DEER, NEVER BIG ENOUGH I HEARD THAT A COUPLE OF GUYS TOOK A COUPLE OF BIG DEERS WITH A BOAT OF ANTELOPE NEVER COULD PROVE IT.

I heard that they were introducing BH Sheep to the Stansbury island as well as some Buffalo.

Read a artical about the boat they were using to transport the animals got stuck or broke down due to the low water in the GSL..I think it was when they were transporting the Buffalo.

Ive been out on Stansbury a few times...never did see any deer. Just a lot of scorpions and lizards!

I've seen some good bucks on stansbury while chuckar hunting.

I hunted Stansbury a couple of times this year. Saw does but no bucks. They are there, but it's nasty up there at the top. I know a guy that shot one close to B&C at the north end a few years ago. It's mostly BLM, but surrounded by private in most places. The lowlands are private, the high ground is BLM.

Was on Stansbury yesterday....saw one pretty nice buck. The area was a decent place to get into chukar...but the word got out the past few years and that has now changed.
