WY Points

I am pretty sure that I have enough points (2) to draw the region I want next year, so should I pay the extra for a bonus point? If you pay the extra do you get a point even if succcessful, or would that just be a waste of money? Also anybody know where I can find the exact dates for the deer seasons from last year? Thanks.

By the way, I think the WY draw is getting way complicated. There are 4 different ways I can apply for the one tag I want;
regular w/ point option
regular w/o point option
special w/ point option
special w/o point option

Pretty soon they are going to have to start offering college degrees in "Big Game Hunt Applications", I might have to go back to school.

Dax,
You need to check the draw odds! Once in a while the regular draw is as good or a little better than the special odds are. Maybe a regular draw try with points to get you to three is cheaper and with the points a better chance than a special with no more points and paying the extra $$$$$. Since it is getting complicated and some folks are lazy or just can't grasp the rules well there are companies making money off of doing the draws for you. May you just need to look at a business degree and opening your own service. A young fella with a degree and that sort of business just might be able to write off a few hunts per year for business expenses ????

Last year they sent refunds out after the draw for the bonus point $$. Only if you drew your first choice and didn't recieve a bonus point.

Send in the point money, if you get your first choice, they refund it. Or, you can just buy the point in the point only period if you do not draw your first choice.
