Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice on colin Neblett North Unit 55A Not sure about the area on the NM wildlife website it shows only a small portion of the unit that is forest service land and the rest is private. Is there anyone out there that could point me in the direction of a herd not afraid of hiking don't have horses and plan on camping. Maybe even interested in a guide service.

I hunted it one time years ago. Have to go to the back of the area to get in elk. Elk come and go off private on to CN. Very hard to walk back in. Need to get a guide or backpack in before hunting. It took me 3 hours walking to get where the elk were and it was up and down. Better be in great shape. Good luck, the elk are there but in the back, north part of CN.
