So I just got an email today of a monster nontypical buck. It states that it is the Gunnison Gov Tag. Any one else seen a pic of this buck yet? All is can say is WOW! One heck of a buck in what looks like 4 feet of Snow! I sure hope the feeding efforts get the deer through this hard time, it would be a shame for Colorado to loose everything that they have worked so hard for. I would post a pic, but I do not believe in posting someone elses pics without permission. So if someone else has pics and permission to share then they can. Great Buck though.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-19-08 AT 10:58AM (MST)[p]I no what you mean about posting the picture without permission. I was going to do it also. I can tell you by looking at my email list alot of people have seen it. The email says taken west of Gunnison. I live near Gunnison, Ut, but I would also say by looking at the snow that it has to be Colorado.

By the way Manny, That is not the buck.

Looks like it has trees growing out of its head. Looks like 11 x 13. and its looks like a real narrow main frame with tons of extras, maybe only 30-32 wide with the cheaters. A toad for sure. Congrats to the hunter. Hopefully he will surface soon so everyone can see what I'm talking about.

Unless I'm mistaken, Utah's Governor's tag buck was killed on the Henry's in October, so that's gotta be Colorado.

elko and push30 are correct, this is the Heiber buck from CO. very impressive looking buck with all the trash and being so narrow
