Ive been feeling the hunting bug coming back already for some reason so thought Id post up some pics of this past seasons elk hunting. My 11 year old boy called this 7 point bull into me which was really neat dressed just the way you see him in the picture because Id just pulled him out of school. The bull had a dozen cows with him. Two or three weeks later my son tagged his first deer just a couple hundred yards from where we killed this guy. I packed both skinned and quartered deer out at once and I can honestly say the two together did not weigh as much as one hind quarter from that bull. They were small deer though. Cant wait to do it again!
