So my wife drew a wasatch muzzy elk tag this year with 3 points. We are super pumped about her drawing the tag. Im well aware of the shape of the elk heard and dont need in doom n gloom post. I have hunted the unit a ton in the past 10 years and spent majority of the time in the northern part of the unit. I have seen some good bulls throughtout the unit in the past but havent spent much time in the last couple years due to changing my deer unit. A little background about her... she has never killed a big game animal. Never seen a bull bugle in the wild. So im hoping that all changes drastically changes come septemper. I have already recieved some help from a MM member and im grateful. I just want to try and make this hunt as memorable as possible for her. So if any of you could lend a helpful hand on where to do some scouting that would be great. Im mainly looking for where people may have seen or not seen bulls in the last couple years. We all know the unit has changed alot in the last couple years. Not honey holes, just general areas to check out or stay away from. Thanks in advance!

I'm afraid it's going to be a rough year for you. Considering you drive a ford. I wish i knew it better

Looks like there might be one Advantage!

She should be able to Pack the Elk out by Herself!:D

Good Luck 31incher!

As you can tell... she aint much of a hiker so im gonna need help locating a 450 bull no more than 100 yards from the road. Thanks in advance!

I wont be able to tell you my honey hole. She wont be able to hike in and out of there. I'm very sorry about that. lol lol
