im a farmer and hunter from louisiana that owns some construction equipment {bulldozer etc.} and was wondering with the need for stock tanks for water for elk and deer or even cattle are there any programs the game and fish or even private organizations that help improve wildlife habitat that a person could get involved in. i always wanted to give back as hunting has been such a big part of my families life for many generations. who do you contact? I've hunted several western states from newmexico to wyoming and its always dry with dirt tanks that look like they could stand some improving. there are also cost share programs here to help offset some of the cost but i don't know if they have that out west.does anyone have any info or know anyone who would. thanks
