I guess that means that there will only be about 14,000 permits left after the draw, instead of the $15,000 permits that are usually left after the draw.
Sorry if that sounds a little sarcastic, but I think UDWR really needs to manage public land hunts separate from the private land hunts in northern UT. The "18 bucks to 100 does" quote is artificially inflated by numbers coming off private land herds--and they know it. Those numbers do not reflect the deer situation on the major public land hunts.
