Eaten Alive on KSL by TimberHunter and buddies

Fellow MMers, I need some backup. KSL.com has run a story about the decrease in deer tags for the Northern Region, then there is a section to comment (will post link). I guess I am just used to reading here on MM where most people have some sense and actually care about the future of deer hunting.
As I replied to some of the uninformed responses, I continued to get responses from people who were mad because permits had been cut and they weren't going to be able to have their "family reunion" up deer hunting.
Also, many people see the amount of deer along the roadway as a sign that permits need to be increased, when we all know this couldn't be further from the truth.

I don't need to say much as you will see if you go to this link.....If you are a member of KSL, help me out as I can hardly reply to all the ignorant people.....also, if you are not a member, it's not hard to sign up, I could use the help.

haven't looked at the link, but when you call people ignorant because they want to hunt with their whole family and are not worried about getting a trophy but just having a good quality experience, then as I have stated before I am on their side. I don't hunt that way, but did growing up, the overall experience is what soldified my love for the sport. Many people hunt for many reasons, not just to shoot 5-8 year old deer.

Tooele, I don't think he was refering to them as ignorant because they want to hunt and have a good time. I think he is talking more about the fact that they are ignorant to the need to cut tags to help the deer population after such a harsh winter.

I hate to even comment on this - but I think the "ignorant" ones are ones that 1- think they can convince anyone on the internet of anything, and 2) care about what anyone posts on KSL.com.
