Sheding antlers

I was in Moab this weekend and I seen a group of deer and pulled over for the heck of it to look at them and they still had their antlers, there was 4 bucks 3 small 4 points and a really nice upper 20's 4pt. This was unusual to me because I live in northern utah and most deer have already dropped. I was just wondering if deer in southern utah drop later than the deer in northern utah.

I live in Moab and the deer and elk seem to be dropping a little late this year not sure why though

From my front porch I can see a couple of hundred head every morning this time of year. As of yesterday there were still a couple of small bucks with horns. South central Utah.
