Colorado Application?

I just applied for a mule deer point as a non-resident with no second choice hunt. I was only charged $79 but expected the charge to be $319. The Colorado DWR help line is busy every time I call and I can't see an explanation in the proclamation so I guess I will ask here.

I assume that I was charged the reduced doe price so will the point I get be good for buck deer hunts? Will my refund be $51 ($79 minus $28 for point and app. fee)?

The reduced doe non-res license is the least expensive, that is what they charge you for. Any CO point is good for any future deer application regardless of sex, unit, or weapon. You will be refunded via check $51 towards the end of June from the CDOW.
Hope that helps.

What BigShot said is correct, unless you purchased a deer tag from Colorado last year, in which case they will not hold the $25 point fee.
