Lucky my 2015 LE Bull

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum. I wanted to share my 2015 LE bull. This truly is a bull of a lifetime! Want to give a huge shout out to my Ward brothers for all the help! Couldn't have done it with out you guys. Also my Dad and brother for sharing in the experience with me. The taxidermist scored him at 390.

Also a special thanks to Shedfreak277 for pictures and video of the bull during the summer.

Wow. Beyond great bull! Hopefully me in a couple of years. That is some serious rocky/steep country to dress out and pack out. Bet you were glad you had an outfitter at that point!

LAST EDITED ON Sep-28-15 AT 12:06PM (MST)[p]We where right around the corner from you. We saw that bull Saturday night just at dark heading to water. It was hot !My daughter had the tag. She is friends with Cassidy. We didn't here that you killed the bull until Wednesday afternoon. She ended up killing a bull in the same ridge on Saturday afternoon.

Thanks! His mass is unreal! I'll be working on putting a story together here soon. Been super busy with work. Also like to mention that no outfitter was used. 100% DIY. I'm just lucky to have great friends that enjoy chasing elk.

Hey BigjohnT, it was so hot! The hunting for us was real slow. I only had a few day to hunt and got lucky to have had a shot at him. Was getting worried it wasn't going happen for me. Did you by chance talk to my brother? He said he talked to a guy and his daughter had a tag. You guys hunt that area often. Said he was a super nice guy and was willing help us out. Would love to see pictures of your daughters bull.

Scott There where so many people out for the opening few days of the hunt. I am not sure if I talked with your brother? I was in a orange and black Polaris razor most of the time. We do spend a lot of time up there. Our family has a cabin on the back side of saw tooth.I am assuming you where camped in Sheep Valley ? Maybe close to the bathrooms ? I think I saw you. A white Chevy/Gmc with California plates?She was with me , four wheeler, Toyota flatbed truck or my Ford white F 250 with leds on the front.

I heard a few stories ? But I will let you fill in the blanks. We thought he would head up towards the cwmu not down towards the bathroom?

We were camped south a mile or so from the restrooms down by the bun area. We mostly were on 4 wheelers. No white chev in our camp. Congrats to your daughter! Love the backend on him.

Awesome bull. I'm glad you got that bull. I was just down the clearing from you Monday night, and talked to your buddies on the road. I also had one of the Expo tags. What day did you shoot him?

I never did see many bulls other than one I saw Monday night, and the one I shot Wednesday evening. Did you end seeing a lot more bulls?

I would love to hear the story on this bull.

Great bull! He has everything and then some. Still need the story, and you mentioned a video...unwritten rule on here that you can't mention pictures or videos and not post them. Gets everyone all sorts of riled up.
