Brian, those tapes expand quite a bit in that heat down there.

35"=almost 3 feet. A dream buck for sure.

nope dryboot, the buck just had too much to drink the night before and has blood shot eyes. ive been that way numerous times.

That's a dream buck. Awesome mass.

Here's my MM CSI take. Maybe they shot the buck one afternoon and found him the next. Could expain the "look" of the buck.

If the buck had been downed right there at the point of the picture wouldn't the left front leg and left back leg be touching the ground instead of sticking straight out via rigor mortis?

What a bomber......dang that is a beautiful buck and congrats to the hunter who dropped him.

The buck was shot the afternoon before and was out for some more photos the next morning. It didn't do him any justice.
Spread is 32" inside- 36" outside.
The story is in the MC Sonora edition.
