Utah Draw/CC hit

I haven't got the letter yet, but it looks like the wife will be hunting the bookcliffs this fall for deer. I just checked the CC history. I asked her how big she was holding out for and she said she wanted a trophy hunter magazine article. If nothing else she wants the biggest one in the house. That is a pretty tall order, but I am up for the challange.

Anyone else have hits?

Check your emails. I got mine from Utah last night 4/28/08 around 6:00 PM Mountain Time- unsuccessful. Oh well, someone needed the tag worse than me.

It only took her 9 years to draw. She had a tag a couple years ago but turned it in, something about being pregnant....

Hopefully Colorado, New Mexico, or Wyoming will hold a tag of some kind for me. I really want to stick something with my new Bow tech black ice.

Doing some realy rough calculations from the 2007 draw stats and assuming that no one transfers units (like that would ever happen). There will be approximatly 220 applicants with 8 bonus points in 2009. If the DWR keeps the same number of tags avaliable for 2009 as they did in 2007 (147 max bonus point tags) you should have some where around a 67% chance of drawing one of the max bonus point tags for the Book Cliffs in 2009 and a done deal in 2010.
