I have a friend who has connections in the NDOW. He said she called and told him the draw took place yesterday. Start watchin your credit cards for hits.

IF you apply as a party (2) and both check the PIW box,if one of us draw the PIW do both get it? Or is that a separate individual drawing ?

Naildriver, I believe you would be put in seperatley for the PIW draw even if you applied as a party in the general draw. The first hits on credit cards the past few years have been the $10 PIW charges. That's one hit you don't want to see.

Wes is right on. The Nv draw was scheduled for Thursday, 5-29
I went scouting to help out with the good karma part

Saw two nice bucks with horns out past their ears already.

I THINK, and I emphasize think, that all is not lost if you see the $10 charge for the PIW draw. You could still draw a piw tag, cause everyone in the piw draw gets the 10 hit then you get charged for the tag itself if you draw it.
It does mean you didn't draw in the regular draw though.
I guess that is bad news.

NVdrhntr. That seems about right. I forgot about the $30 tag fee if you are LUCKY enough to get a PIW tag. I remember last year it was about 6 0r 7 days after the draw was complete my card was charged for the PIW fees then a few days later for deer tags.

I believe they did the draw, based on a phone call I got from Systems Consultants. They called me on Thursday to tell me not to panic, that they hadn't yet sent out my LE archery elk tag for Utah, but that everything was OK and as soon as they finished an urgent project they had to do the next couple days, they'd mail my license to me. She said they hadn't mailed all the Utah licenses, and were calling those hunters to tell them to expect them in around 7-10 days, after they finished this project.

So, I'm guessing the project was the Nevada draw????

I hung up after thanking them, but was thinking WTF did they bother to call me for? I have to say, they are very service oriented over there in Fallon. I wish Arizona would go back to them, they're the best in the business.

I spoke with a representative from the application service in NV this morning and he said credit cards will start being processed within the next few days. I promised myself I wouldn't become so anal this year about psyco checking my cc. I can see that isn't gonna happen
