Last year, 2007, I received my Deer tag on JUNE 11th and results were posted on June 1st on the website.
Might be posted today or tomorrow, cross your fingers and legs RACK. LOl

Hey Brian...check out the elk posts....people are already finding out in a back-a@$ward way whether they drew elk. Just wondering if anyone has found a deer draw numbered in the same manner....I don't have one in my list as of a couple of hours ago.

After I read that thread on the elk I tried last night and it showed I had a deer application "491" but no deer tag yet. I don't think they are up yet. I should draw with the points I have. Good luck to all. Between Colorado, Wyoming and Kansas I am having some serious draw anxiety. With the fuel prices the way they are and the odds that I have going into this year it just may be the most expensive hunting season I have ever had.

It's always an adventure!!!

Jim,
Those of us that have applied for deer don't have any results yet, most likely by next weekend or the first next week.
I did the backwards as stated above, just shows that I have an application pending results.

The CDOW home page states deer results will be available on the 12th. I think we will have to wait just a little longer.........

LAST EDITED ON Jun-02-08 AT 07:49PM (MST)[p]When you do the back door thing as described in the Elk forum, I saw my application for deer but nothing else. BUT I think I PP'd deer this year.

But that elk tag is sweet!!!! STOKED

I suspect that we may have to wait at least another week for deer. Probably due to the late decisions on how many deer tags to cut, it took longer before they were ready for the draw.

The deer draw is complete according to the DOW in Gunnison, it just hasn't been posted yet. I am in Gunnison for a fire academy and stopped by the DOW office this evening. The very nice lady at the desk looked up both deer and elk results for myself. Didn't draw either one, so hopefully next year.
On a side note, the biologist there said the southern units in the Gunnison basin had worse winterkill than the northern ones. He said the northern units had quite a few more feeding stations than the southern units. He thought overall there was a 30% winterkill among the units.

Brian-check the CO DOW site, habitat stamp purchase path....I've got a "590 Res deer" item there now.
