Wyoming Archery Elk, FUN

Hi Guys
3 of us were fortunate enough to be able to hunt Wyoming Archery Elk last year. We had a BLAST. We passed on bulls every day, and missed a toad on day 5.
We backpacked, fished, laughed, called in 10-12 bulls, and saw hundreds of elk. We were harassed by a huge Mt Lion, and saw several bears up close.
We all had in mind 300 plus or bust, but on the last day, as we worked on a 330ish bull, this decent 5x6 just came too close for my brother in law to not shoot.
It was a great trip, one that I would repeat again in a minute, and again be happy to come home with an un-punched tag. It was just pure fun, and enjoyment.
Here are a few photos that help capture the event:

That sounds like a lot of fun. I'd really like to take my wife on an archery elk hunt up there, I'm just too selfish and end up having deer hunts lined up that conflicted.
4th season Colorado elk will have to do for her until my deer options run out.

Your adventure sounds awesome. 10-12 bulls called....what a rush!! How many days were you in there?

Looks awesome ! Sounds like a fun hunt. Sitting on 9 points right now so I wouldnt mind hearing what area you were in if you care to share ? PM me if youd like or if you dont want to share I understand too.

It was just awesome!
Brian, we were there 10 days. Hunted 320+ bulls everyday, but just could not get it together. Dang it can be hard to make it all line up when those bulls are closing in.

Elkcrzy1, I can share with you yes, will send a PM

I was also wondering where just because it looks remarkably like where I hunt. The picture with the elk is perfect, but the other pictures, I can't place the rock Ridge in the background. If it's where I think, you're only about 3 miles from where me and my dad killed our bulls this year.

You da man, Mike!
That's a wonderful adventure and one you'll not soon forget.
I'd say that trip was a huge s-u-c-c-e-s-s!

Thanks Zeke!
It really was my first limited entry hunt, that I was not successful, but went away completely happy. It was just a great time.
Every night we sat around in awe of the opportunity, the fun, and the challenge. We hunted HARD! I could have shot a couple of small bulls, but was having too much fun, and really wanted 2 big bulls we had been chasing.
