How are the elk doing so far this spring? Any early scouters been out and have seen how the antler growth is going so far? I was fortunate enough to draw an Early Rifle tag after 14 years (actually had the tag in '08) of putting in for LE. Was originally set on putting in for Monroe Archery this year until a few bulls that made it through the winter enticed me to switch over to the Wasatch and give it another go.

I will probably begin my scouting in a few weeks when more of the snow is gone. Anxious to get out and get after it again. There is something about hunting elk in the rut that super-seeds most anything else!

Hope and wish luck to all who have drawn tags for this fall! I love summer scouting, but these next four months are going to be tough to get through!

Antlers are growing like weeds! This year will be another great year on the Wasatch no doubt! Hopefully you can locate one of the bulls that made you want to switch units.

Berry- if you're excited then I better exponentially increase my excitement for his fall. Hopefully you and your clients have a great year!

Muleycreek- good to hear the antlers have some good growth already. Here is to hoping for some more moisture through mid July. By the way, congrats on your bull last year. Very unique. I saw him a few times on the hoof. One of the Bulls I have been keeping tabs on the last few years unfortunately didn't make it, but there are some others I'd gladly punch my tag on. My good buddy also pulled the Wasatch late tag at the expo. I think he's been in contact with you recently.
