Great Map Resource!

I have a Nevada PIW deer tag this year and was looking at an area I hunted in the past and wanted to know what was on the other side of the mountain. Not to uncommon. I used the 3D version of mapslive.com and it was awesome, You could rotate the area 360 degrees and look down at any angle. It was truly amazing. Best of all it was free and I did not have to download anything it gave me just a run option. With gas costing so much, I though this might be a useful tool for all to get a great lay of the land. I have seen several quality bucks in this area, but now I am sure this area has the potential to produce a buck that I will be proud to put my tag on. Just give me a little weather this year please. I plan to have a base camp with the toy hauler, quad to the end of the road and coyote out for 2 to 3 days at a time and glass glass glass. I am patient and love to glass with the old Swarovski's and tripod.....I am stoked.

You are going to have to give us not so computer literate a little more help. Mapslive.com just takes me to a page with lots of options, and most lead to something to buy. Where do you go from the main page. Here is the link I brought up:

I just spent an hour on it and it is a great resource. I'll definately be spending more time on it!

I'm going to check it out for my Nevada antelope units. I'll get back to you. Thanks for the info. Anyone hunted units 132-134, 245? I'm accepting info on the unit. Thanks.

Steve
