Nevada 114, 115 Muzzleloader

LAST EDITED ON Jun-18-08 AT 01:59PM (MST)[p]My dad drew the late muzzleloader tag in 114,115. We've hunted the unit in the last few years with lots of success but it was the early rifle hunt. I've never scouted the unit in November and was wondering what I should expect. I would like to here some stories from hunts past so post em up.

The area suckd ass last year ,the water is gone ,all the deer have been wintering south of the unit and with the food and water resources deminished as they are ,you are in for a hard ,hard hunt .especially due to the good food and water resources in the area south of youre unit.Go early and Stay late .Good luck.

Fun hunt. Lots of bucks. Hunt the snowline and key on the does. The bucks will be near. Should be no problem finding a 20"+ 4x4 or better to tag with the potential for a real smoker with a little luck...
