CO Unit 44 4th Season

Have any of you guys had this tag? If so how did you do or what do you know about this unit? I drew it this year but dont realy know much about it yet. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

They lost alot of Bucks in that area this last winter, I talked to a Bio he said they lost like 75% of the older class bucks and tons of does, I think you have a tough hunt in front of you, wish I had better news.

Never been in 44 during the fourth season but always hear about the big boys being around that time of the year. We had a pretty bad winter up in this region of Colroado this year but I am sure there are still some great bucks that will show up to the wintering grounds.

The Dates make this hunt great, You could start were most people do and contact the bioligist for the area and the wardens. The holy Cross wilderness is a good area but may be to late by fourth season.
