I drew a area 101 Mule Deer Tag Oct 15th! Any ideas of were to start scouting? Any Help or contacts would be appreciated.

I hunted Kinney ridge a few years ago and seen a few two- and three-points, but never found bigger deer. I was unable to hunt later parts of the rifle hunt, which may have proven better. If I were doing it again I would focus on areas with more cedar (North and west of Kinney ridge, or perhaps more remote drainages in SW part of unit.

I hunted it a few years ago. You might also check out Rife's Rim.
I was also told that the deer and elk hunting pressure in CO can push the deer across the border into the Vermillion Creek area so that could be a place to check out during the hunt.
