Well with over a month and a half to go, I think I found him. Where do you think he will end up in a month and a half. (My guess, is in my backpack headed down the hill towards home!)

Looks good CS! I'm sure he's enjoying his last couple of weeks alive right now. I look forward to the pictures. I have seen quite a few young bucks but nothing I want in my backpack at this point.

Cowslayer...pay no attention to the faint 'beeping' sound coming from your truck. It's not a GPS tracking device and these are not the droids you are looking for. Blame it on coincidence if I happen to show up at the same trailhead as you.....everytime. Nice buck man!

You'll be too busy chasing your elk to bother with that little guy. Here is a picture of the Nomad buck next to him to give you some perspective. The other buck is a sweet 2pt that probably would gross 30".

I've probably shown you all too much. I can see everyone peicing together the puzzle now of where this is at. Please no guesses, I am sworn to secrecy by the wife.

That buck next to the biggun is what you call a 6x9.....six inches on one antler and 9 on the other. He looks like a puppy. I won't ask for your honey hole as I am still paying the gas bill from the Salt Flats honey hole you told me about.

I know you don't believe me, but every fall the bucks that summer on Antelope Island spend the hunts out on the salt flats out by Wendover.

With the lake being as low as it has been the last couple of years, they take the south peninsula and then head out along I-80.
