I'm not sure, Steve. Your standards are high. I'd shoot him with a bow, not sure with a rifle. He's kinda crabby on the front fork on one side, but the cheater offsets it. He may not be your first choice in all of that BC country. Maybe he'll be like some of your other bucks; watch for 4 years, then find him and whack him. I am real confident your son would love to shoot him, though.

You are right, my standards are indeed too high. He's not a shooter for me, especially this year. My son drew moose and mountain goat and muley doe, so he'll be filling the freezer yet again. This buck would be a great youth season buck for him though. Judging from what I've seen the antler growth do in the past, I believe this guy still has a lot of growing yet to do. For me, I'll probably hold out till the bitter end and eat tag soup come last light on Dec 10th.
