I was taking pictures of my buck to send to a friend because I think he found sheds to his offspring & we wanted to compare them.
Anyway, I thought I would pass the pics along to help with the muley fixes during this long summer season.
Sorry the pictures aren't the best. The camper trailer was the best background I could find.
I didn't take photos of more of the body & the pedestal because we were focusing on his antlers to compare.

You will have to talk NVRENUF into posting the sheds. They belong to him.

Wow! Love the height and the bladed tines.
Are those characteristics typical of Region K?

I got one there in the late seventys that's very similar. He was 23 1/2 wide and 21 1/2 high, a 4x5 170 B&C. He was the only one I saw that looked like that out of the 80 or 90 bucks I saw on that trip.
Nice buck ! Love those high ones !

Sweet! I'll be up there this season hoping to find his offspring.

That's a dandy buck. Those long tines and cheaters remind me of some of our deer over here in SE Wyoming, too. Congrats.

He gross scores 201 4/8 and nets 187 7/8 B&C.
His G2's are 20" long and he measures 25" tall from the skull to the top of the G2's, not measuring along the antlers. This is a perpendicular measurement.
I wrote the story back in 2000 on MM but I can't figure out how to search the old archives, or I would just put a link to it.
The story on this buck was printed in the April/May issue of the Eastman's Hunting Journal, also.

I honestly can't remember exactly what it was back then. That was quite awhile ago. I believe it was something like hnt4bucks or close to that.
Do you know how to search the old archives?
Thanks again for coming up here Chris. I really appreciate it & I hope I can get you more business in the future.

hnt4bucks is NOT LISTED. I looked through the whole alphabet under the H's and did not see your name. The Jack Sparrow was what I was looking for but now I see your real name.
Will check again.
