CWMU deer Tag

I put this in the Utah section and only got 2 responses so I thoguht I would try it here.
I drew the Spring creek/dodge cwmu Deer tag. the reason I put in for this tag was because my dads friends hunt this cwmu for elk every year and last year they hunted it for deer and one of them killed a 208 inch non typical all they other guys killed some real good deer also, but they told me it would be a great hunt and I would have a Chance at some good bucks. But I thought I would Ask all of you MMer's if any of you have hunted this area or guided on it and what to really expect on this hunt. thanks for any INFO. I think more than anything I just want to hear some stories and see some pictures from there. Im Getting so excited for the hunt to start I cant wait.

The comment you received from JDelk in the Utah section is from someone who lives in the area and has hunted the CWMU for both deer and elk. His assessment appears spot on to me - both about the CWMU operator and your chances to kill a nice deer. I know you mention a 200 class deer in your post and while that is apparently a possibility, JDelk's comment is more of what you can realistically expect. I have personally seen some of the nice bucks taken on that CWMU, but I don't have any pics to share. Good luck on your hunt!

Thanks for the post. and that is what I pretty much figured how the unit and hunt are going to be, I just wanted to get as many opinions as I could the more insight the better is kind of what I was thinking and I really wanted to see some pics and just hear some stories I love hearing stories from people of there success from a unit or hunt that I'm about to go on. It just gets me that much more excited for my up coming hunt.
