I am videoing a hunt for a friend of mine on his Muzzy hunt in Sep. I couldn't find it in the Utah big game proclamation, what is the rule on wearing hunter orange? Does it have to be worn at all in Utah? And just by the hunter, or do I as well tagging along?

And just as a sidenote, how much needs to be worn during rifle season? Is it a percentage of the body, or hat and chest?

Guidance will be appreciate for me the novice. Thanks guys.

(And I'm doing the archery hunt, heading up Thurs the 14th after work! Can't wait. Good luck to you crazies that will be in the outdoors with me!)

I don't now how much you need but this should be enough.

400 inches, to include chest, back, and head.

If there is a rifle season in the area you have to wear it wether you are hunting with a bow, muzzleloader, or rifle..

were talking Utah here...best bet is to wear head to toe blaze orange...

400 inches of hunters orange is required for the person with the tag. Indavidulas along for the ride/hunt that do not have a tag are not required to have hunters oragne on. This applies to all archery and muzzleloader hunts that co-inside with any rifle season hunt for the same area.
