Archery Cape

Got my first archery buck this last weekend 25" 4 point. I wanted to mount it. I kind of hosed myself when the cape got ruined. Does anyone know of the best way to get a cape for an archery buck? Taxidermist around here said he'd keep a look out, but he didn't sound too convincing.

You can look fo a cape on ebay or taxidermy.net...I would buy a wet tanned cape, close to the same measurements...They are ready to mount...

Talk to your local butchers. There are always people bringing in animals that they are not going to mount, and some have not cut the brisket or throat. Taxidermists often buy extra capes from butchers/locker plants.
