Do muley's have to water each day

NO.....They dont HAVE to but they sometimes do water every day depending on the heat and how much they have traveled. Usually in the summer months (July and August) they average watering about every 3-7 days depending on the above factors. I have seen several bucks water daily then not come in for another 5-6 days. A lot of it depends on the weather and the length they have to travel to get water. That's my 2 cents.

Most of my trail cameras average about every three days for a buck to return unless its up in the higher country with lots of green food. Then it seems more like six or seven days before they return. They are definately not as predictable as whitetails.

Muleys don't have to drink from standing water at all if they don't want to. They can get almost all the water they need to survive from thier food. But if water is available they will drink it regularly.

I have noticed, mnt bucks as well as desert bucks have 1 or 2 water holes in their normal routes. i have seen bucks in vernon in particular will have several holes. (on good water years) like this year.

At higher altitudes, I think the deer can get water from the moisture (dew) on the plants they eat. They still need a main water source, but they can go a few days without water because of the dew on the plants and forbes.
In drier climates I think they probably water more often. Those are my thoughts, but I'm no expert.
