I just cant believe that know body is hunted this area yet!!!!!!!!

The archery hunt in the unit is 11/10.

The muzz hunt starts 9/10.

I really hope no one is out hunting yet......

Have you had a chance to look over the unit?

not yet how about you? Hoping to get over there maybe in the middle of this month..

Went down there over labor day. Its big country, the maps don't do it justice.

Saw 40-50 deer, no big bucks. Learned a little bit about the country and learned how to get a full size 4 door Dodge out of a ditch by myself. (Hint, 2 jacks, 1 come along, 1 ATV ramp, 1 stout fence post, liberal swearing and ample adrenaline).

I think there is a total of 3 homes in the northern 1/2 of the unit. I saw 2 other pickups (other than those parked at the homes) and 1 ATV. Be sure to take extra gas, spares, jacks, water etc. No cell phone service. Good stuff!

Wow sounds real fun no cell phones that is the best..Anyway I cant wait so you didnt see any big one's any water holes out there any good places to camp was it hot and dry also when are you planning to hunt if you are going there.. Please keep intouch.. Thanks for the info and good luck..

Just got back from the Id unit bordering 81 to the north, and traveled through 81 to get there. Was not close to as good as last year in the ID zone for the bow hunt. Fewer bucks overall and not many real good bucks. Saw a few 24"-26" but not many and none bigger. Did not see any deer in 81 but if you have a antelope tag you could do real well. Just seems like it may be a down year in that area for deer. Just my opion.

Seriously thanks for the info. In the Idaho unit what general area did you hunt? I have a muzz tag for that unit in November. Unfortunately no antelope tag. I have the rifle deer tag. Thanks again.
