Book Cliffs

I am looking for any information about this unit and if anyone has seen any notable buck on there this year.....I was lucky enough to draw a tag this year and due to some unforseen circumstances, I have been unable to do the scouting I usually do for a great hunt like this. I really hate asking for information like this and I understand if I dont get any response because I feel the same as most, in that individual hard work and time spent scouting is the real key to being successful. Again, I hate even asking for information but anyone who would be willing to share that would be great. If you would like to share info via email...my email address is [email protected]

Dude- just head out there and pick a road. You will see buck after buck after buck. The most abundant bigger bucks will be 150-170 class bucks and if you see one bigger than 170...take him. The Books are managed to be a fun hunt where you'll see alot of deer. And you will. You'll see plenty. Good luck and have fun. It's so much fun to hunt out there...you'll love it.

I don't know where this buck is now, but he's out there somewhere. The first deer in this video clip, the wide one, is a Book Cliffs buck. Sorry and I can't tell you where to go, but maybe this clip will help motivate you to walk one extra ridge that ends up being the key.????

im just trying to figure out where to use some points next year in CO.

the Book Cliffs are in Utah. It is a very large area and holds a ton of animals..

hey guys I really appreciate the response and I will keep you all posted on how I do. I have actually been able to work out a scouting trip down there this coming weekend so I am pretty pumped about that. I will post some pics of what i find. thanks again for all your help....
