Expert Advice Needed
I found an awesome game trail last year and I want to hunt it this year. It is a 35 degree north facing slope in between a water source and a bedding area. My plan of attack was to sit in the trees about 30 or 40 yards above it and wait for the deer to travel it early in the morning when the warming air would be rising. Treestands put you high enough to keep your scent off of the ground right? If that is true then I should be ok. Does anyone have any input on my theory or will I just be sitting there cold all morning?
