Is there anyone out there that has an Idaho general deer tag, that is not going to use it? we are looking for 1 more tag. I talked to the fish and game they said that if someone is willing to sell us their tag, we can buy it from them, turn it in to the fish and game, and re purchase it under our name? How about it we will make it worth your while????

Yes I do, but not sure how that works.

We called the fish and game, and what we have to do is turn your license in at one of their offices, they will then allow us to repurchase it in our name. Now you have already bought the license, so we would buy it from you so that you would not lose the money. You could either meet us at one of their offices, or sell it to us and we will take it in...call me if you have any questions thanks

That surprised me that Idaho does that. I hope it works out and you get the tag you need. However, I sure hope this isn't one of those loopholes that can be abused. In a state that generally sells its tags out, I would hate to see people buying up the tags only to turn them back in with a "make it worth your while" kickback in the form of $$$. Just my 2 cents

YES IDAHO HAS THE TAG SALE PROGRAM.....I SOLD MINE A FEW YEARS BACK.....YD.

It is legal as long as a non resident purchases another non resident or resident buys a resident.....

We ordered 2 NR tags with our licenses, apparently only the license went through. Now we have 2 lic and no tags.....We need 2 NR tags if anyone is dumping 2. PMs welcome.

I don't think a Controlled Deer Tag would do you much good without the needed Controlled Hunt PERMIT as well.

It seems really wierd that they would do this swap thing. I wanted to exchange my own reduced price ($31.50) bear tag for a full price ($141) bear tag one year, and they said NO WAY!
