I'm asking for a little help and maybe a swap of knowledge. I grew up hunting the Northeast part of the state. I bet you I know more hiding places for Bucks and Bulls than Bess over there. I tried for a limited entry draw as my first and second draws. My third draw ended up being Southeast. I don't know a thing about this area. I'm willing to exchange information if someone is willing.
I'm not afraid to get back into the farthest area, but I would like to get a decent buck. I will tell you that I have passed up on 37 bucks in the last three years on the Northeast area.
I spent some time scouting down on the Skyline Drive area near Fairview and found a few small bucks and a few does and fawns. I then went down toward Huntington and saw a few does and No Bucks. I finished up south out Emery and once again saw a few does. Can someone give me a few pointers that might help me and my hunting partner out.
Thanks for your reading this and your consideration.
