i live near logan, and i want to get my first buck but i dont want a giant. i would like to get a 2 point. i dont want to get a monster because i dont care if i dont get one.

if any one could help me shoot one opening day or let me know where some are would be AWESOME!!!

You sound like a young guy, so I will give you some advice that will help you in the long run. Get up early on opening morning, and hike for a few hours away from the roads. Find yourself a nice vantage point and do some glassing for the first 3-4 hours, then hit the thick stuff looking for holed up Bucks. Move as slowly and quietly as you can, using your binoculars to glass ahead through the trees as you move, you'll be surprised how many Deer you'll before they see you. You can kill a Buck this way on just about any unit.

my advice would to get a doe permit. Let the little 2 point grow up. Much easier to kill doe.

Now there is some wisdom, shoot the doe which produces the bucks when the population is low. hahaha Now that is some funny stuff. I don't know about you boys, but last I checked one male can breed a-whole-lotta females. Just ask Slam.. hahaha Sounds like "Whitetail" management to me.

Do what Tony said. I'd only add that you need to scout a little and know where you want to be when the sun comes up and be there.

Offer up a cash reward for a finders fee and the generous folks will pipe up to help you out. Other than that, you've got some good advice to go on.

i will split meat, pay if i need to. i just would really like to shoot my first buck before i am 18. a small 2 point will set me just fine. i mainly want meat but i couldnt get a doe tag. willing to hike, drive, camp whatever it takes to shoot a deer.

Packout. Yea the population is low. That is why Fish and Game give out all those muley doe permits. Come on now, leave the baby deer alone, and shoot mature animal. Even if it is a doe.
