With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud
slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the
country from one end to another, and with the threat
of bird flu and terrorist attacks, 'Are we sure this is a
good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?

There's room for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed taters and gravy.

That is the "ONE" for me. Perfect buck, the one I'm still looking for. Mass, spread, tine length, points etc.

Is this the split ear buck you were looking for ? Looks like it to me.
Lets hear a little bit about the gun that took this buck, and the shot. I have one of the rifles ordered it should be here tomorrow.

From what i heard, this guy is an out of stater and drew the tag. Decided he wasn't going to be able to fly out here and scout it so hired Xtreme Outfitters?? like troy justensen and those guys?? They spotted it in late july and watched it, but it dissapeared for the last week, until they finally refound it a couple days ago and the guy made the shoot. Can anyone confirm this?

This buck was taken with X-reme Outfitters. Ed Joseph is the hunter he actually drew the tag. The buck was taken with a Wasatch Precision Arms rifle chambered for the 300 Tejas. The shot was 440 yards with a 168 Berger VLD (3660 FPS) one shot was all that was needed. The palmation on this buck was truely incrediable.

Congrats Troy, all that time paid off! Thats my favorite buck from this year! Are you free next year? Henry ARchery?

It's alot more than me, this would not have happened with out Greg Bird, Brandon Barney and Wade Ovard! And of course Ed Joseph for giving us the opportunity to be apart of his hunt.

Thanks troy

what a P-I-G!
Beautiful buck. I think many guys forget how hard it is to kill a world class deer even on a world class unit. Sure, you may get lucky, but deer like this come from work, work work!

Way to make the MOST of a once in a lifetime tag!!!

TROY,
WAS THIS THE BUCK YOU WERE LOOKING FOR WHEN YOU STOPPED AND TALKED TO US ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON? LIKE YOU SAID ALOT SIMILAR TO THE BUCK KYLE SHOT. WE TALKED RIGHT AT THE TRAIL HEAD. THAT IS ONE AWESOME BUCK!
