Put in my time and effort, and with 2 days left I found what I was after, almost shot 2 dink 4 points...but kept my cool. Spotted him at 1/2 mile chasing doe's, looked at all the ground between me and him. I thought there is no way.....that I can get it done. But then I went for it, cause he was still chasing hard at 9a.m.
Got as close as I could, couldn't get a range(later when I got to him I got a range of 412yds, by shootin a cedar right where I shot from)
I shot and he was gone......sounded like a hit
His doe's shuffled a bit, but didn't wanna leave. They kept looking in the side draw he was standin next to, and didn't wanna leave.
So I figured he was down, and he was
Forgot to account for the crosswind, because it was calm in the draw I shot from
Ended up hit him front of the shoulder and angled to break his neck, which worked out perfect

He is 30 1/2 outside and about 20 tall
