Anyone have any luck this past week in Eastern Colorado? I just got back and had a pretty rough week. Warm weather with lots of feed kept the big boys holed up. Anyone else have similiar experiences?

I don't know anything about this but that it came from eastern colorado this last week.

yea i live in eastern colorado and had a white tail doe tag. there were a ton of hunters and the deer were hard to find because of all the crops. i did get mine on opening night, but it was the worst hunt i have had back home"because of the amount of deer i saw"
i still have my archery tag and the dee will be easier to find when all that corn and milow is cut

Was friggin miserable! We had doe tags and daughter had her first buck tag. We were holding out for whitetail does hoping to leave the muleys to make more bucks...saw only a small handfull of muleys does and a little buck the whole weekend. The combines are going like mad now, so hopefully there will be a little better luck before the season ends Wednesday. Just way too much corn still standing. Will try to update if my daughter scores. Im gonna call her in sick to school on Wednesday and try like mad to find her a nice one.

It was a tough hunt. All the standing corn provided cover for the deer. I was lucky and shot a good whitey the first night after a few days of scouting. It was my best whitey at 169". I'll try and post a pic in the whitey section.
