Here is a buck I took in gun season

Here is one I took the the gun. I worked my butt off durning archery but coulsn'd get it done. My old body made to many mistakes and as you know you can't make any mistakes when you bow hunt. He is 26 wide 20 tall has a kicker that makes a hook and has a split brow tine. Not as rewarding with a gun.

It may not be quite as rewarding with a bow but I wouldn't take anything away from ya with a nice public land mulie like that.

What region did you get him in? Looks like a little whitetail in him..... Good buck though!

South central MT. Thats what I would say also but not sure it is the case but could be. The picture really doesn't do much for the rack in person it is very unique and heavy.

Is he really old or really young? I can't tell if he's on the decline or had a ton of potential! Cool buck!

I would say he was on the decline. He had the roman hump nose and teeth where down to nothing.

Extreme character, I love your buck. I mostly bow hunt, but I would be just as satisfied if I got that buck with a gun! congrats!

I wish I could of got some pictures of him in the field. I didn't have the camera. I had to field dress him and packed the meat and head out. I was by myself and was back in about 1 mile. Thanks
