colorado unit 21

Did anybody hunt in unit 21 rifle seasons. My dad and grandpa had tags for the second season and it was a very tough hunt. Not many deer and only a few good bucks were seen. Worse winter kill than thought. Just wanted to see how others did on second and third seasons.

Hey Cole how did you do on your archery hunt, and did your dad and grandpa get deer even though it was a tough hunt.

My buddy had a tag for 2nd. I went with him for a day and a half, and have never seen so many deer, during a prerut hunt.

I was in the area during the third season. Nobody had a tag for 21, but we spent some time in there. I was with two guys who had hunted that unit before and we only saw one buck that they would have pulled the trigger on. Lots of deer, but not as many big uns as usual.
