JUST CURIOUS....WHEN DO MOST OF YOU THINK THE DEER RUT PEAKS ON THE KAIBAB. ANSWERS SEEM TO VERY...INTERESTED IN YOUR OPINION, THANKS......YD.

I would think it would be real late Nov-early Dec..

That's about what I found last year, the deer here in Oregon seem a little late so far. but there are so few bucks they probably know they've got lots of time.

I hunted 12B west last week and the rut is definately not happening yet. Lots of does and small forks but no big deer. My wife did find a 3X4 to shoot but he was all by himself. We got snow and very cold weather and a lot of wind. Hunting kind of sucked for a while. I was holding out for a big deer so my wife scored and I did not.

Most years on the Bab the bucks start ruting late Nove till early Jan .The hardest ruting is in Dec.I have lion hunted there every year in Dec for 15 years and we see the biggest bucks chasing does then the most.By middle Jan the rut is over most of the time and you see big bucks back together.
