The one in the back of the truck with the coolers(not the non-typical one haha) and on the little screen is supposedly pushing the new Utah typical state record from what i've heard. I guess it should score between 211 to 213 typical. I guess we will find out as soon as it is finished drying. Could be just a rumor.

State record typical is 212 1/8

Sorta makes you wonder what Utah could grow elsewhere in the state with a more conservative approach, instead of killing all the bucks when they're 2 years old.

the new typical should be right around there. when he was killed he was 239 gross with the extra 2 then 229 frame. the other 9x11 is ron mikas that went 221! then the other two are studs too!

those are nice bucks but there is no way in hell i want to only hunt once in my life. If you want to hunt the henneries where those deer were taken you might not every get a chance to hunt it.

if you want to see deer like that which you can hunt every year make more archery only areas!

I hunt deer like that every year. Maybe some day Ill actually take one. I hunted a buck for three years thats sheds went 217 typical. he had a 36 inch frame 5 inch eye guards and the largest deepest forks i have ever seen. we were hunting a deer this year that will go 220 pluss with a 12" drop tine. I have hunted a deer almost evey year that has gone over 200 for the last 6-8 years.

What we dont need is more areas that take years of applications to hunt! we just need more archery only areas.

Archery is a year round commitment!!

They sure are cool to watch and see photos of, but thats it, except for a very lucky few. I heard one person describe a Henery's buffalo hunt as "we got tired of seeing 28" bucks"

+1 swbuckmaster.

Well said swbuckmaster i couldnt agree with you more. We need some archery only areas so the damn rifle hunters wont go in after the bowhunt and shoot all the two points they see.

Bottom pic and third from the bottom are Reed Mellor and his wifes 205 gross typical.

Congrats on some absolute studs!

If this was the Henry's hunt for 2008, I believe Mrs. M. shot two 200+ buck this year. I could have sworn that it was she who shot a big one on the Paunsaugunt this year during the ML hunt with the Mossback crew. I could be wrong, but it looks like her.

They have always grown big down there. Back in the day my family had it all to themselves. that was way before my time. congrats to the hunters, that let others find their buck of a lifetime. Them mountains are rugged and steep.

One thing is for sure Mossback puts in the time to find some real giants!! Every year I am blown away at the caliber of animals they are able to produce for their clients. It seems to me if you have the money to hunt with an outfitter they are the way to go. Congrats to the guides who put in all the hours to find some great bucks and congrats to the hunters also.
