Are the bucks rutting on the strip during the rifle season ?

They were going good during my 13b rifle hunt but I heard that they were not as active during the 13a hunt the following week.

I have been on two 13B hunts. I thought it was warm in 2003 but this past year on my son's hunt the game wardens said it was the warmest weather they had ever seen on that hunt. We did not see rutting activity on either hunt although the bucks we killed had the swollen necks. We did not see bucks with does in 2003 and saw a herd in 2007 with small bucks and one good buck with does. To me the rut was not at all in full swing.
