I ate tag soup. Not because I had too, but just didn't want to pull the trigger on a good buck and miss the opportunity at a great buck. With my son more than filling the freezer this year, I knew I'd eat my tags while holding out for an absolute giant. The late season was very very brutal. No snow with the deer scattered from high elevation to the low ground and everywhere in between. The rut was pretty much non-existant. I think the does were the ones that were looking for the bucks, not the other way around. Judging from most of the local hunting boards, not many BC monsters hit the ground this year. Overall, I hunted for 3 months straight and had the best season of my life even though my pocket is still full of tags. Nothing like hunting with family and friends.

I WAS CURIOUS!!!

IT WAS TOUGH EVERYWHERE THIS YEAR IN THE WEST!!!

WITH UTAHS NEW "STUPID" PLANS IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE!!!

SOUNDS LIKE DEEP SNOW IN COLORADO AGAIN!!!

I JUST MADE A FAIRLY GOOD CUT THIS MORNING & ONLY SAW A COUPLE OF BUCKS THAT MIGHT BE BIG ENOUGH BY NEXT YEAR,AND THATS IF A GUY COULD EVEN FIND ONE OF THEM???

IT AIN'T LOOKIN REAL GOOD & UTAHS POOR MANAGEMENT WILL ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE!!!

LETS JUST HOPE THE YOUNGSTERS GET A CHANCE!!!
