To Those From NDOW Offended,...

I made a comment on here a couple weeks ago that stirred up some stuff with NDOW. I had said "Stupid NDOW" gives out to many elk and deer tags and apparently some people did not think to kindly of those remarks. I did not mean to make anyone angry or upset and certainly did not mean to ruffle any feathers. I apologize sincerly to anyone that took offense to my remarks. I am very lucky to have alot of good friends that work for NDOW and work very hard protecting our fellow hunters and the animals we love to hunt. THese men and women are the true heroes of the sport and to them I apolgize. To them and everyone else, I am sorry and hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me.

Only a real man can make an apology like that. Most apolgies are buried in a list of excuses, but not this one. Whoever he offended should forgive him.

It almost sounds like someone at NDOW is making you issue a public apology....you know..."bad boy, now go tell all the people you were wrong" Dont mean anything by it..just sounds like they told you if you didnt apologize that you wouldn't ever get a tag again.
I too agree that in some cases they give out too many tags, but i also think they do a pretty good job for the most part about manageing big game. Hard to draw a tag, but most areas you dont see alot of people if you dont want to.

If anyone in the world is used to criticism, it is F&G employees......I think you are prolly flattering yourself that anyone cares what you posted here.....but the gesture of an apology was nice.

maybe you don't know this but its the game commissioners that make the final decisions on tag numbers and its almost allways the commissioners that make stupid mistakes, as they say, their a bunch of real dandies
