Old Nevada photo

Found this picture in a box of old photos I just inherited. The little girl is my cousin and from the her age in the picture I'd guess it was taken somewhere around 1948 or 49. Her Dad liked to hunt central Nevada so'd I'd guess it was killed in area 17. I'm not aware of him ever keeping a rack. Probably ended up in the dump. Not a monster but a nice heavy deer.

I have another picture somewhere of a big buck my Dad shot in the late 1950s. If I can find it I will post it too.

Nothing like good old family black & white pictures of hunting, thanks NV. I would say that your cousin is around early 60's now in age, right??

She would have just turned 62 last week. But she passed away about seven years ago. Bone cancer. She was one of the oldest of all my cousins that I knew well.
