Does anyone know how many rifle permits they are allowing this year in the henries? last year it was 3 for non res. since they are allowing non res. archery and muzz. are they increasing the rifle?

I'm curious because one of my buddies and I both have the same n.r. points (14) we used to apply as a group to the pauns. until a few years back we switched to the Henries. I know it is a long shot to get drawn even solo, but if there were 4 n.r. tags and 2 are for max point holders can a group get the other 2? Yes, I know the odds are better for single apps. but it would fun to hunt together. does anyone know when the dwr sets the numbers?

I am not sure I undertand. You say you have 14 points, and you seem to think you will be in the max point group. But Rackmaster says that there are 14 guys who have 15 points?

I know I'm not in the max point group, but say there are only 2 n.r. tags one is for the max group one is for the random draw
now if there were 4 n.r. tags 2 would go to the max group 2 would be for the random draw which I will be in because I don't have max points. I'm just curious to know when they will set the number of tags, because if we put in as group and get lucky and draw tags it would be kind of cool to hunt together. It sucks but the final number of tags offered is not decided until after the application period is over.
Unless something changed this year.
